Review:
->Ever since our little Santiago was born, we've been using this ointment on him when he has a rash, and it works wonders. It is healing beyond belief. The results you see on your baby's skin with Aquaphor make it worth the extra couple of bucks.
We've also used it on our skin, on burns or irritated skin and it does the same wonders. We're happy to have received a sample of it while we were at the hospital!
->I tried everything from baby oil, olive/canola oil, baby shampoos, even Selsun Blue which dried by baby's scalp out even more. I was at my wits end until I came across one review for Aquaphor from a mother who claimed that it made her baby's cradle cap go away. I figured I had nothing to lose. I tried it and saw improvement that day. Within 3-4 days it was COMPLETELY gone!! I couldn't believe it! I wish I had tried this first. Excellent product!!! I just shampooed his hair, towel dried it and applied the Aquaphor ointment a few times a day. Amazing!
->A friend recommended Aquaphor when I mentioned I couldn't get the little bit of raw spots/rash on my 6 week old's bottom to clear up, and I'm so glad I tried it! Son's hiney has been great ever since, and it also helps heal irritations on the 2 year old, too. One application and things dramatically improve every time! It's pricey, but so is ALL diaper ointment. It is worth the price to get something that works so well.
->My 3 month old was diagnosed with baby eczema. My pediatrician told me to rub her with olive oil every night and eventually she would grow out of it. I did a bunch of research online and read a lot of parent recommendations using this product. I bought some and within a week her little red patches had completely cleared. I also stopped using soap when bathing her and changed her laundry detergent to one that was dye and fragrance free. I have been using this lotion for almost three months now and she hasn't had another break out since.
->My winter baby had an extremely difficult time adjusting to life outside the belly and experienced very dry skin as a result. After two weeks of hoping that it was not eczema, I found this product and now I see beautiful baby skin once again!
->This stuff is the "superman" of diaper creams. It works great for allergic rashes and antibiotic rashes. Throw away all the big name brands and get this. I use this on my son after a bath to seal in moisture and seal out irritants. Between diaper changes or with a mild rash i use Weleda. Between the two, my baby's skin is well protected.
->I love this product. It was recommended by my pediatrician. I have had diaper rash on my son with almost EVERY other diaper balm/ointment. Since using Aquaphor, we have not had any problems (and I have one very happy baby). There is no greasy residue at all, and it applies on smootly. Best of all, Aquaphor is also great for dry Mommy and Daddy skin, and great for chapped lips. I highly recommend this to all Moms!
->THIS PRODUCT IS AMAZING - all NEW parents need to start out with this and they will never and I MEAN NEVER use any other product for diaper rashes. TRUE - IT IS A LITTLE PRICEY BUT IT'S WELL, VERY WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY. IT'S BEEN MY SAVIOR - my baby has never had diaper rash - using a very thin application once a day a few times a week (and after bathtime).
->After six months in Australia and a spell in Bali surfing, my lips reached a point of being severely chapped/dry/itchy for months afterwards. I tried literally every product I could get a hold of and my lips were still itchy and parched. A friend was putting this on her lips, I asked her about it, and she said it was recommended by her dermatologist. This is the one product of everything I tried that was nonirritiating and immensely healing, not to mention soothing.
->My daughter owns a restaurant and frequently suffers burns. Her dermatologist recommended Aquaphor. It helps the burns heal quickly and without scarring, and now I use it too, for burns, dry skin,, dry lips, and general skin care. This product fulfills its promises.
->I first became aware of Aquaphor from a morning news show featuring useful items to have in your home. The product was described as great for all-around personal care. Since purchasing it, I have used it for cuts and scratches, chapped hands, and dry areas on my feet and legs. It has a pleasant scent and a soothing consistency. I'm only sorry that I have never purchased this before. Although many products are less expensive, Aquaphor is truly one of those brand name items that fall into the category of "you get what you pay for."
